eZ Platform is a next generation "eZ Publish"; A feature rich, extensible, enterprise open source CMS/CMF solution.
To grow for the future it was decided we wanted to modernize the framework and what we build upon.
Work on eZ Platform started winter 2011 and has been part of eZ Publish Platform 5.x since fall 2012, Symfony powered.
Continuously improved since then, and this year ready to become what was earlier referred to as "eZ Publish 6.0".
